The Yard Milkshake Bar Reviews

I finally tried The Yard milkshake bar after seeing those over-the-top shakes all over the internet. It definitely looked fun in person too, but once I actually started eating it, it was just way too rich for me. After a few bites, I was already kind of done because it was so sweet and heavy.
The toppings were messy, and the whole thing felt more like a dessert challenge than an actual treat I’d want to finish. I feel like that could be preventable if they toned things down a little or balanced the flavors better. If you’re into super rich desserts, you might love it, but for me it was too much and not really worth the price.

I ordered from theyardmilkshakebar.com the shakes were really good. The delivery side was kind of all over the place though. The first order showed up fast, but the second one was late and the tracking barely updated, so I was just sitting around wondering what was going on. Nothing was spilled or ruined, which was a relief, but it was still annoying. I also don’t love getting those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” type apologies when you’re just trying to figure out where your food is. I’d probably order again, but only if I’m not in a hurry.

I ended up getting the wrong shake again... which was frustrating. I was really just hoping my order would be right this time, but yeah, it wasn’t.

I tried the Yard last weekend the shake was massive and tasted really good. It was definitely on the pricey side though, and after I paid I kind of had that moment of wondering if it was actually going to be worth it. Thankfully it was solid. The staff were nice too, so I’d probably go back again

The milkshake was decent, but the parking situation kind of soured the whole stop for me. I had to circle around twice before finding a spot, and then ended up walking farther than I expected. Not the worst experience ever, just a little frustrating when I was only trying to grab a quick shake.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s a little hit or miss. Sometimes the shakes are really good and worth it, but other times they come out super messy or don’t taste quite the same. It’s still a fun spot to stop by, I just wish the quality was more consistent from visit to visit

I don’t know, I just felt kind of ignored the whole time I was there. The staff didn’t seem very friendly, it made me feel unwelcome.

My shake showed up half melted and really not cold at all. Maybe it was just the delivery time, but it was disappointing to open it up like that.

The site does the job for the most part, and I was able to find the menu and the information I needed. That said, some of the text felt a bit too small, and a few buttons weren’t as obvious as they should be. It’s not a huge issue, but common sense says a website should make the basic stuff easy without making people work for it

The shakes looked really good and ordering was easy, but the pricing threw me off a bit. I didn’t realize some of the add-ons would bump the total up as much as they did until checkout. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just kind of annoying and more stressful than it needed to be when you’re trying to figure out what you’re actually spending upfront.

I was disappointed because literally everything I wanted was sold out AGAIN. I kept checking, hoping at least one item would be available, but nope.

The shakes were really good, really good, but they cost more than I expected. I enjoyed them, just wish the price was a little easier on the wallet.

I wouldn’t waste your time on the ice cream here. It tasted kind of cheap and like it had been sitting in the freezer too long. Somehow it was way too sweet but still didn’t have much flavor, and the texture was icy instead of creamy. For what they charge, I expected a lot better. I definitely wouldn’t go back for it.

The staff was really helpful with my order and all the little questions I had. I did end up waiting a bit longer than I expected, but it was still a good visit overall

I brought my kids here it just felt a bit uncomfortable. The vibe didn’t really seem kid-friendly to me. Meh.

Had so many toppings to choose from and ended up making it just how I wanted

I had a small issue with my order, but support handled it really quickly. No hassle, no back-and-forth, just got it fixed and moved on...

It looked really cool in the jar, like all the toppings and stuff made it fun to look at. Mine was a bit messy though, and eating it without it spilling was not very easy for me. Good if you want a cute picture, but not totally perfect to actually eat...

The milkshake itself tasted fine, honestly. I was mostly just focused on getting it home and enjoying it, but the lid wasn’t on tight and it leaked all over the bag before I even made it back. For the price, that was annoying.

I saw the specialty shakes online and assumed there’d be a lot of fun, creative options, but once I looked through the menu, it kind of felt like the same ideas repeated in different ways. Maybe they stick to what sells, but it didn’t feel as exciting as I expected.
